About the author
The True Diary of a Bride-to-be is my first book. I have kept a diary most of my adult life and this book is one hundred percent true. It is a must buy for any Bride-to-be planning for their big day.
I live in Brighton with my wonderful husband Dave and gorgeous baby Cole, who is the subject of my second book The True Diary of a Mum-to-be a pregnancy companion, published in April 2010.
In becoming an author I have realised a life-long ambition of seeing my work in print. After many years of searching I have at last found the perfect job for me. One that means I can work my own hours whilst taking frequent 'snack and nap' breaks!
To date my book has been featured in the Argus newspaper, Sussex Life Magazine, Your Sussex Wedding Magazine, The North Laine Runner, The Sussex Newspaper,Bracknell News, Taunton County Gazette & Wedding Ideas Magazine. I was also interviewed on Allison Fernes afternoon show for BBC Radio Sussex and am a regular guest on Sarah Gorrells show on BBC Radio Sussex. I have also started my own radio show 'Charlie's World' on Brighton's Coastway Hospital Radio where I chat about weddings, babies and the joyful moments in life.
The True Diary of a Bride-to-be was launched at The Granville Hotel in Brighton where I hosted a book signing and mini wedding fayre.

My book is currently stocked in around 200 branches of Waterstones nationwide and I have held signings at Waterstones in - Bracknell, Brighton, Bristol Cribbs Causeway, Taunton, Staines, Hastings, High Wycombe, & Croydon. I frequently hold signings at wedding fayres including The Chatsworth Hotel in Worthing & The Hilton Metropole in Brighton.
